The Amazing Spider-man 20 & 21 - The Coming of the Scorpion | Where Flies the Beetle

<p>The first appearance of the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_Gargan'>Scorpion</a>. Dr. Farley Stillwell turns Mac Gargan into the Scorpion at the request of J.Jonah Jameson.  Things go bad quickly and J.Jonah actually cheers FOR Spider-man.  The <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abner_Jenkins'>Beetle</a> kidnaps the Human Torch's girlfriend and Spider-Man tries to rescue her, as the torch ignores her cries for help.</p>
