Tackling the global food crisis through sustainable agriculture

“Our Actions are our Future”, this is the theme of World Food Day commemorated today to heighten public awareness of the problem of hunger globally.  Joining us to talk more about this global crisis is Prof. Lindiwe Sibanda, director and chair of the Africa Research Universities Alliance Centre of Excellence in sustainable food systems at the University of Pretoria. Next up, we chat to Qinisani Qwabe, an agricultural researcher at the Mangosuthu University of Technology’s Institute for Rural Development and Community Engagement. Plus, he farms with indigenous crops in Mzansi.
