Today a ridge moves over the area as a low-pressure moves into the northwest US, resulting in south winds 20-30 G 35 mph and pushing highs into the upper 70’s. RED FLAG WARNING Tomorrow, less wind clouds in the morning and warming temps in the 80’s ahead of a dryline and disturbance that will produce a line of isolated potentially severe thunderstorms in the evening east US Hwy 83. Thursday a lee-side low-pressure develops in southeast CO keeping highs in the 80’s and south winds blowing. Thursday night and Friday the low moves out over the area with some isolated storms mainly north I-70 that really expand in coverage as the low moves off to the northeast into NE in the evening and overnight. Saturday will be windy and colder behind the system as it spins off into eastern NE, northern IA and southern MN. Could see some morning scattered rain showers.
