Prepare for Another Wave of Near Record Heat; Sun & Next Week More Seasonal Temps & Better Chances for Late Day & Evening Storms

<p>Today will be slightly warmer than yesterday with high-pressure ridge a bit more amplified over the area, then shifts east over the Plains Friday and Saturday.   Highs will reach into the upper 90’s with some chances for isolated evening storms.  Friday and Saturday will bring the return of 100-degree heat, possibly some fire concerns and less chances for the storms.  Could see near record highs and heat advisory on Saturday east of Highway 83.  Saturday night and Sunday a stronger front and disturbance moves through the area.   Sunday and Monday cooler more seasonal temps around 90-degrees and better chances for afternoon and evening storms with a stationary front draped across the area and disturbances kicking out of the Rockies. </p>
