Musician Mike Donehey on disagreeing like Jesus, sports broadcasting and

<p>Mike Donehey is a singer/songwriter and the former lead man with Tenth Avenue North.</p> <p>Starring on the soccer team at his high school in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Donehey and two of his teammates were driving to a game one day in September 1998 when his Honda swerved out of control, flipped several times and crashed into a tree. Donehey’s injuries were numerous: a fractured skull, fractured vertebrae, 96 stitches, five days in intensive care, and he was told he would never walk again.</p> <p>Two months later, Donehey proved the doctors wrong and was up and moving and walking. It was during that time in recovery that he picked up a guitar for the first time and discovered a love for music.
