<p>Ajmal Ahmady was the head of the Afghan central bank until he fled the country on Sunday. He spoke with our BBC colleague Victoria Craig about his own journey out of Afghanistan and how corruption led to the Taliban&#8217;s return to dominance. Craig also spoke with David Brancaccio with more details of her talk with Ahmady.
