Lessons from a Woman Serial Entrepreneur and Real Estate Investor

Amelia Misenheimer, a member of our exclusive Facebook group, joins me this week on the podcast to share her entrepreneurial journey. As soon as I heard about Amelia's incredible story, I knew she would be a source of encouragement to those of us who might be contemplating new endeavors post-pandemic 2022 due to the staggering statistics shared: <ul> <li>8 million of the five million women who lost their jobs in 2020 have yet to return.</li> <li>One out of four women were considering leaving corporate due to burnout.</li> <li>Business coaches are seeing a considerable increase in registration for women launching new businesses</li> </ul> <p>Amelia Misenheimer, business entrepreneur, real estate broker and investor, property manager, and licensed in all things housing, is also in the midst of starting a new business as a coach with an emphasis on real estate investments.</p> <p>Amelia describes herself as growing up talking about money and had her first bank account at age six years old and remembers writing her first check for a new mountain bike at twelve years old.</p> <p>She started helping out in the family real estate business as a small child stamping floor plans, cleaning rentals, answering phones, etc. which led her to the mindset hard work = more money - which isn't always true.</p> <p>She read Rich Dad Poor Dad in high school and that really opened her eyes to passive income, and the different types of work/pay relationships there are in the world.
