How crowdfunding as a business model can scale 'significance'

<p>Crowdfunding may be a great business model for me. It allows me to 1) make money without charging people who are already economically struggling and 2) give people a way to directly support another community in a scalable way. There are still many problems to figure out with this model,... but I hope it is a more promising model than a subscription-only model.</p> <p>Furthermore, I share some insights from SB Kaufman's article about <a href="https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-to-restore-americas-humanity/">Restoring America's Humanity</a> in which talks about how 'learned helplessness' is actually the default state after prolonged adversity, and how a feeling of (actionable) hope has to be taught or relearned.&nbsp;</p>
