Former Mayor Of Clare Concerned By Lack Of Urgency In Uisce Eireann

Residents in East Clare are expressing their frustrations as a Boil Water Notice enters its sixth week. The Boil Notice was issued to the Killaloe water supply on September 17th due to operational issues affecting chlorination at the plant. Uisce Eireann lifted a notice at neighbouring town O'Briensbridge earlier this month after it was in place for almost nine weeks. Killaloe Fianna Fáil Councillor Tony O’Brien says the notice is adding costs and inconveniences to locals.
