When other believers came to town, Gaius wouldn’t hesitate to open his home to them and when they left, he would provide the provisions they needed for the next journey. For Diotrephes it was all about the title. He was insecure, critical, arrogant, and intimidated others. He didn’t care how he was perceived by others, all he cared about was the title.
