Enjoy Nice WX Today; Winter Storm & Wind Chill Watch New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day; Warmer & Dry Wx Returns Sun-Wed

<p>Today flow returns southwest warming temps into the mid-50’s ahead of a winter storm system New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.  WINTER STORM WATCH EAST HWY 83 AND WIND CHILL WATCH WEST Friday a cold front will swing through with snow developing in the evening, temperatures fall from the 40’s to single digits with Arctic intrusion.  Saturday blowing snow in the morning winds gusting 40+ mph and bitter cold daytime temps in the teens, lows below zero and wind chills 15 to 25 below or more.  Snow accumulation 1” to 4” heavier east Hwy 83.  This Arctic snap will be short lived as Sunday a ridge over the Central US snaps back into place with warmer and dry conditions Sun-Wed.   Daytime highs return to the 40’s and 50’s and lows climb into the teens and low 20’s.  </p>
