Claims Ennis Town Bus Service Timeline Can Be Reduced By Up To 9 Months

Clare's Green Party Senator claims the delivery timeline for the Ennis town bus service could be reduced by up to nine months. The half hourly intra town service is expected to be operational in early 2025 and will see 90% of all residents living within 800m of a bus stop. In the interim period, the Ennis Municipal District will be installing the necessary infrastructure, with the tender process for the driver to be issued thereafter. However, Inagh Green Party Senator Roisín Garvey, who has been engaging with the National Transport Authority on the matter says both projects could run in tandem and significantly expedite the new service.
