A Clare Government TD claims the idea of an emergency budget to address cost of living concerns is a 'fanciful' proposal. Clare Fianna Fail TD Cathal Crowe claims while a mini budget isn't a good idea, a package of targeted measures should be introduced for the most vulnerable before the autumn. The Meelick-based Deputy wants a certain amount of money that's due to be distributed in Budget 2023 to be set aside sooner than that.
