Canada and Global Health Agreements with James Roguski

<p>National sovereignty and personal medical autonomy have been a growing concern to many Canadians, particularly when it comes to the influence of international bodies such as the World Health Organization (WHO).  </p><p><br></p><p>Most remember the tremendous amount of influence the WHO had on democracies worldwide during the Covid-19 pandemic through the information and recommendations that they gave. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to the WHO, there is an international legal instrument called the International Health Regulations. It was established in the 1930s to help guide how independent nations will deal with the prevention and transmission of infectious diseases.  </p><p><br></p><p>Recently the document was amended, and further amendments are planned for late May of 2023. Some of these amendments expand the scope of what might be classified as an international health crisis and expand control over independent nations.  </p><p><br></p><p>Here with us to shed light on the topic is James Roguski. James is an author and prolific researcher who has been highlighting the development of international health agreements and their potential impact on us all.  </p><p><br></p><p>Thanks for joining us.
