The Bible makes the distinction very clear: "By this the children of God and the children of the devil are clearly identified: anyone who does 👉🏾not practice righteousness [who does not seek God’s will in thought, action, and purpose] is not of God, nor is the one who does not [unselfishly] love his [believing] brother." Amen! THAT'S HOW!! Bottom line: 💥 Anyone born of God, does not habitually sin (study 1 John 5:18)!! 💥 We stop willfully sinning against God! Beloved, let us be uber, super clear: that as born-again children of the Most High God, washed and forgiven by the shed blood of Jesus, who died for our sins on the cross, and rose the third day... we walk in the NEWNESS OF LIFE!! We abandon our old sinful ways and live Spirit-filled lives that are transformed and renewed! Sin lost its dominating control over us when Christ, through His atoning sacrifice, released us from the bondage of sin; placating God's wrath, whose justice demanded punishment for sin! Christ Jesus suffered the penalty for our wrongdoing when He paid our sin debt in full, once and for all, when He was nailed to the cross in our stead! 🎯 Therefore, we consider ourselves to be dead to sin, and our relationship to it broken!
