الوصف

This week's edition of Afrika in Focus is a special looking at the forthcoming Football World Cup being held in Qatar, asking the question can an Afrikan team win the football world Cup

The Greatest Footballer Of All Time (GOAT). The Afrikan Brazilian Pele once said that an Afrikan nation would win the World Cup by the year 2000.

That has not materialised as yet and frankly, it NEVER will. As far as I am concerned NO Afrikan team will EVER win a World Cup because of the lack of discipline, infighting (that we saw in the Ghana team in Brazil in 2014) and essentially that the World Cup is rigged to suit European and South American teams.

Only Cameroun (1990), Senegal (2002) and Ghana (2010) have made the quarter final of the World Cup -- Ghana famously missing out on a semi-final berth for an Afrikan team as a result of the infamous handball of Uruguay's Luis Suarez

We assess the chances of the five Afrikan teams Senegal, Ghana, Cameroun, Tunisia and Morrocco.

We end by making a prediction that Senegal, current Afrikan champions, will be the Afrikan team that goes the furthest.

Support Ghanaian farmers: https://www.growforme.com/en
Support the show
Donate/Support the show: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1793098/support

If you want to book an hour consultation session on relocating, doing business or investing in Ghana, please email ahodwo805@gmail.com

Follow me on Spotify podcasts - just look for the Ghana/Afrika in Focus podcast on Spotify and click follow so that every time I upload a new podcast it automatically comes to your feed.

Tell your family and friends.
