60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday: What Are You Going Through?

<p>Hello, to you listening in <a href="https://www.discoverpuertorico.com/regions/east/canovanas#!grid~~~random~1" target="_blank">Canovanas, Puerto Rico</a>!</p><p>Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday and your host, Diane Wyzga.</p><p>I came across something the author <a href="http://transactionswithbeauty.com/home/whatareyougoingthrough" target="_blank">Simone Weil</a> wrote.  “<i>The love of our neighbor in all its fullness means being able to say to her, ‘What are you going through</i>?’” </p><p>I wondered what would happen if I took a risk to ask that question. What did I have to lose? As my dear storytelling Canadian friend Michelle would say: “<i>If you don’t go you won’t know so give it a go</i>!”</p><p>I did. In turn, I received a story of intrigue, despair, resilience, change, courage, and resolution. I don’t know if I was able to help my friend with my question; but I can’t say that I didn’t help her.</p><p><strong>Story Prompt</strong>: There is something about this question that goes so far beyond: <i>How ya doin’</i>?
