236 – Andrew – Bad News Across The Board!

<p>Market report and bitesize episode for the w/c 22nd May 2023. Andrew heads straight into discussing the misery on top of misery, discussing crop prices in the market for the week as usual. A terrible week for farming prices for those looking to sell, every market is down and all news is bearish until it isn’t.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>It appears there is not much farmer participation in the market…maybe a little bit of irony going on here, tune in to find out why. There is a demand for barley since Spain has a drought &amp; the malting barley market has life.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Andrew updates that there is an awfully large amount of wheat moving out of their future stores and next week appears to be moving just as well.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>An insight into harvest, which will not be taking place on July 1st this year, as discussed in last week’s episode, but the industry will be able to manage.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This is a reminder to everyone that the Dewing Grain Podcast Walk will be taking place on Friday 26th May 2023 at 11am.
