On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: It was a noisy day at the Supreme Court as people camped out all night, lining up for a chance to see some of the arguments in the historic Dobbs v Jackson Women's Health Organization case. Catherine Hadro, Host and Managing Editor of EWTN Pro-Life Weekly was outside of the court as oral arguments were being heard. There was so much momentum for the pro-life movement as Hadro spoke with dozens of pro-lifers who were praying for an end to Roe v Wade. Among the many keen observers at the Supreme Court was March for Life president, Jeanne Mancini. She issued a statement that read "After nearly 50 years, most Americans want to be freed from the deadly oppression of Roe's chaotic rule." Cofounder of SCOTUSblog, Amy Howe, shares her thoughts on today's oral arguments and what struck her the most. The oral arguments presented a variety of issues for the justices to debate, ranging from when life begins to why viability would be the most appropriate legal standard. President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, Ryan Anderson, shares his reaction to the oral arguments and what stood out to him. Finally this evening, the EU has withdrawn a document that recommended against using the phrase "Christmas period." The Vatican was among the groups who pushed back against the document. Rome Correspondent, Colm Flynn, tells us more about the pushback the document received. Don't miss out on the latest news and analysis from a Catholic perspective.
