What's Up Doc?: Physician, Musician with no competition, writer, fighter, few were brighter, a builder who thrilled her, a husband, a son, a father, grandfather all wrapped into one.

From the Bronx to beyond!. From Musician to Physician to Builder. I started out with an ideal at an early age. By five I just knew that I was going to be a doctor. We all knew, from my relatives to my parents and really to my friends that I was to become a doctor. Having learned to play piano I graduated to Rock keyboards and guitars and finally , after Woodstock, to a decision. Musician or Physician. That's how my parents put it. The next thing I knew I was off to Medical School. Having received a full scholarship to the University of Guadalajara's State Medical School, through the Social Service year on the Mexican American border and finally through internship and residency in Washington D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland, I finally accepted a position as the Director of one of the first Doc-In-A-Box clinics in Jacksonville, Florida where my wife and three kids began our new life. And what an exciting life that turned out to be. From working at a small clinic to owning our own clinic, my wife Carmen and I forged a lifetime of medical work through sincerity, professionalism and just plain caring.
