Eastern Prayers

This collection of Eastern Christian prayers offers a sampling of prayers from the Byzantine Christian tradition, which dates back to the earliest days of the Church and includes Church Fathers such as St. John Chrysostom, St. Basil the Great, and St. Athanasius of Alexandria. These prayers are prayed by Orthodox Christians, and by the fourteen Byzantine Catholic Churches around the world that are in full communion with the Bishop of Rome.
