Vignettes: Scenes from an American Life

I have led an interesting and eventful life. Much of what has come to pass has been delightfully joyous, while many occurrences have literally just about frightened me out of my skin. I have always wanted to entertain others with these stories of my life -- sharing the good, the bad, and the foolish, so to speak, thereby telling on myself a good deal when it comes to some of the more foolish things I have done. Readers, of course, always tend to enjoy such stories. I also hope there may be some life lessons embedded in this memoir that might be of benefit to others -- although my main purpose here is to make the stories fun for the reader.Each story is different from the others, in terms of the kinds of people involved, the types of activities taking place, and the kinds of locales in which the events unfold.
