Five women sent to Magdalene asylums in the 1960's, reflect on the harrowing experiences they endured in the asylum, working as slaves, and facing cruelty at the hands of the nuns. In 1996 the six women reunite, after receiving an invitation from Sara Hegarty, an undercover worker at the asylum to meet up.
