Story of Mahabharata: Part 2

The second part of the story of Mahabharata starts with Pandava, starting their exile, along with Draupadi. And it ends with the successful completion of thirteen years of exile, including the last year in disguise, not recognized by any body.So, this book narrates a very difficult period of their life, full of troubles, and challenges.The author has narrated in this second part of the story as to how they spent the long period of twelve years of exile in forests, and one more year in incognito.Did they continue to cry on their fate and lie low? Or, conspire with the help of their well-wishers to kill and overthrow their cousins? Or, thought of calming the effect of some planets like Saturn with the help of rites as being prescribed in the modern days, by some great knowers of the impact of movement of planets on human life?We know it well that they did not opt for any of such options, first one was against their personality, second one was against their virtuous life, and the third option was not suggested by any of the great sages of that period, who were not influenced by superstitious modern thinking.What those sages did ?They, with the help of ancient stories, and saying, consoled them in the initial stages, and whenever they were afflicted during their exile; and also guided and motivated them regularly. Amazing stories, thus form a major part of this book. All having awesome contents, and very suitable to learn from them, even in modern days.
