Description

This book examines the relationship between China and Taiwan, specifically in the regards to China’s overt efforts to reclaim control over the island from the time of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) in 1949 to the present. Overall, the question targeted in this book is: Why has China failed militarily in retaking Taiwan and are they succeeding through the use of economic policy?Read more
