What is Manara? Manara seeks to present windows into Islam; to show and express its depth, complexity, and beauty in creative and artistic ways. We aim to explore Islamic history, heritage and culture, while also examining issues from post-colonialism and politics to spirituality and secularism. As such, we aim to produce a variety of content including analytical articles, lifestyle pieces, photography and video essays. Our team is comprised of an internationally based, multi-cultural group of young Muslims with the goal of creating Islamically grounded content. We hope you enjoy our work and join us on the journey.
